Sorry

For my faithful readers, I apologize.
There's been no time to post anything recently. We had the holidays. I'm studying for my final coming up in 2 weeks. A close family member has been hospitalized.

Wendy has been out of town taking care of the family member. The house has been very quiet with just the dogs and me occupying it. I've been eating a lot of chili and holding down the fort. I like the Staggs brand of chili: it has a little more kick to it.

I've been wanting to go see the new "King Kong" movie but can't find 3 hours in one block to go and see it.

I've been watching reruns of the Sopranos. "Star Trek: the Next Generation" has started playing on the computer channel, G4. I've watched a few episodes but I probably won't watch many more.

I watched the movie "Crash" over the weekend. It's getting great reviews and winning awards. What did I think? It was ok. The screenwriter and the director were very skillful in the way that they fit all the different storylines together. The actors did a good job. But it didn't thrill me or make me want to go out and buy it. And although it's topic is important, racism, for me, it didn't offer any new insights or solutions.
